Campust Chest 2009

Congratulations to all agencies for meeting and exceeding the Campus Chest goals for 2009. Below are the totals for each agency and IPS as a whole. Goals are set based on a percentage of total payroll for the agency:

At this time, while IPS has met our goal, the university is short of its overall goal and will be extending the campaign for a couple more weeks. If you have not given but would like to, please support the charitable agencies of your choice and send the pledge to Judie Martin.
Thanks to the agency teams leaders (Janet Hails, Armintha Loveday, Beth Paton, and Mike Garland) and Judie Martin for overall leadership and hard work during this difficult economic time. All of you were very generous this year to help others. We have much to be proud of!

Org Review

The IPS Organizational Review Committee had a good meeting today. I provided them detailed information in advance on revenues, expenditures, faculty utilization, administrative costs, and central office services. They had several good questions, but nothing I couldn't answer to their satisfaction. We will meet in November with customers and stakeholders that agency directors have recruited. Our final meeting will be in December.

Things are going well and I believe a recommendation will be made to the president that is in the best interest of IPS and its agencies.
